Cottage Living Fresh Ideas

If you're a fan of Cottage Living, be sure to check out their new special issue, "Fresh Ideas". The issue is filled with tips on decorating and furnishing cottages and small spaces. The fresh ideas include painting patterned floors, displaying collections en masse, and making the garden an extension of the home. Many of Cottage Living's tips could be applied to large homes or small apartments. Of course the tips are all helpful, but what I enjoyed most was the compilation of the magazine's top photos.

  1. I will have to get this issue! I remember the jelly molds photo, so I must have the original issue with that. Love that wall of white! And the painted floor is wonderful.

  11. I'm addicted to Gambrel - I picked up Fresh Ideas last weekend (don't you hate the lonely wasteland between subscription deliveries?) and had not seen this original layout. Love so much the rod the pictures are hanging from - have you seen that kind of hardware before? But I agree, this whole issue is one hit after another.

  12. KC- This was the first time I had seen this layout too. I love it, and also love the way he hung the paintings. We need to find that hardware!
