Wishing You the Happiest of Holidays

As we go our separate ways for the holidays, I want to wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah.  A heartfelt "Thank You" for your support, your readership, and your friendship over this past year.  I look forward to seeing you again at the first of the new year.

May the Joy and Peace of Christmas be with you now and throughout the new year.

  2. Delightful pictures! Candy canes are missing from my Christmas decorations this year so I'm drawn to that great green door surrounded by red and white stripes. A very merry Christmas, Jennifer.

  5. 2014 was an intense time for many people throughout the world. The Peak of Chic brought much needed beauty, contemplation of classic design and fun. Thanks Jennifer.

Have a lovely holiday and a Happy and Healthy New Year!

    Bright Blessings.

  6. Hello Jennifer, You always give us such a unique blend of style tinged with nostalgia--these illustrations today are you all over (I think I recognize a few of the artists). Thank you for a great year of articles, and we look forward to next year.

Happy Holidays to you, too. I can't add a picture here, so please imagine I am attaching one of those Charles Addams (or Mary Petty, if you prefer) Holiday drawings to add to the above.

  10. Merry Christmas, Jennifer! I love the pictures/illustrations, and I want my entrance hall to be as big and look as good as the one in one of the illustrations! Just finished my centerpiece for Christmas Eve dinner - set the table yesterday. For me, the table setting is as important as the food! I was greatly influenced in the mid-60's by Tiffany's NYC store table settings when I was in school there. All that vermeil! I now have some myself. It's always interesting to see what influences us when we're younger that carries over today. I wish there were a way for us to share pictures on the comments section. Have a well-deserved rest!

    1. Dear srb, How I wish I could have seen the Tiffany table setting shows in person! I do love the photos I have seen, and they still inspire today. I hope that you have a Merry Christmas!
