Let's face it- there are times when all we want to do is look at photographs of handsome rooms. So, seeing as it's Friday, I thought I would just show a few images from Ashley Whittaker's portfolio. I believe her website is still being updated, but in the meantime, I thought this might be a snazzy sendoff to the weekend! Enjoy!
Added bonus: Here are a few pics of Whittaker's apartment from the domino website.

yes, sometimes all you want is some eye-candy! These all look like very comfortable, liveable rooms -just in time for the lazy weekend!
ReplyDeleteGreat rooms!
ReplyDeletevery charming indeed
ReplyDeleteThe boy's room is adorable - love the striped rug!
ReplyDeleteOh how I love those zebra ottomans. I think now I really associate Ashley with great upholstered ottomans and stools :)
ReplyDeleteThe top photo makes me want to visit the Hamptons right now. I am a big fan.
ReplyDeleteLove that bottom pic of the white on white on white with ice-blue and redgold accents.
ReplyDeleteEven though it has my all-time least favorite decor faux pax (IMO!) - electrical cords running down the wall.
But very comfy and relaxed and calming! I could spend hours on that sofa doing the Sunday Times puzzle!

Ashley Whittaker's interiors are lovely and great inspiration. Lot's of fun...thanks!
ReplyDeleteHer way with consoles, tales and lamps- SO fine.
ReplyDeleteEnraptured with the symmetry of her rooms and the pairs of "something" in all the shots.
The perimeters of her rooms are good & strong - I love that - especially if things were to get bit messy, the "look" doesn't fall apart.......
Thanks for the eye candy. I needed it this Friday. Great blog!
ReplyDeleteYou are so right, my dear! A little eye candy - she's wonderful! I love this kind of decorating. love her bedroom too.
ReplyDeleteI love these interiors. The white on white rooms or so serene. Thanks!

I must know where she got that Greek Key console and those stools tucked underneath it. Will she tell us???
ReplyDeleteBeautiful post. I have not seen any of these pictures before, and they are very inspiring.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you like her work! Truffles, let me see what I can find out.
ReplyDeleteHave you seen the Michael S. Smith collection for Ann Sacks? He has a BEAUTIFUL greek key border tile that I think you would just LOVE! The entire collection is breathtaking - beautiful textured surfaces -here is a link to the whole collection

As Goldilocks would say, "Just right" that is what I would say if I lived in one of those rooms. Scale, style, amount of color is all perfect.
ReplyDeleteLove her portfolio, so glad you shared it, she does amazing work!!
