Columns have long had a secondary use as decorative accessories in interiors. Whether you choose to use a real column or simply an item that incorporates this motif (like the column table, below), this classic symbol is sure to add some "order" to one's room.

ReplyDeleteIt crossed my mind the other day that columns would be a fun post. I am so glad you did it! I love the shell columns too! I am always on the lookout for some pedestal columns for my Dining Room that maybe have storage inside. If you run across anything??...
